First of all I wish you all a very happy and blessed new year.

         Luke 15:24, "for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' And they began to be merry."

         We read a story in Luke 15:11 to 15:32 that a man had two sons and one was prodigal and one was good. One day the younger son asked his father to give his portion and he gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. When he lost everything in his life, his friends, his wealth, his name, his fame everything then he thought about his fathers house and returned to his father. When he came back , his father arranged a great feast for him but his elder brother got angry with him and his father. His father justifies saying that in Luke 15:32, "It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found."

         We are also dead and lost because Adam and Eve sinned before God and the same sinful nature is in us. This separates us from God and His presence but Jesus came to save us from our sins that’s why He said in the Bible Luke 19:10, "for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."

         Yes, my friend, Turn to Jesus, He is ready to save you and give you a new life. Look to the prodigal son, whatever he lost in his life, he got back when he turned to his father and returned to his father. So turn to God & repent from your sin.  And I believe,  this year, God is going to give you back whatever you lost.

         If we see in the life of Job... we can see that he lost everything in his life, his children, his wealth, his health and even his wife stood against him but God gave him back everything even in double portion as the Bible says in Job 42:10-13 And the LORD restored Job's losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before." Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all those who had been his acquaintances before, came to him and ate food with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the adversity that the LORD had brought upon him. Each one gave him a piece of silver and each a ring of gold. Now the LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he got fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys. He also got seven sons and three daughters."

          Yes, God is going to give you back everything what you lost. May be you have lost your family members, may be you have lost your friends and relatives, may be you have lost your health, may be you have lost your wealth but this year God is going to give you back and He is going to heal your broken home, broken hearts and broken relationships.

          If we see in the life of David, once he lost everything in his life, Amalekites invaded the south of Ziklag, attacked and burned it with fire and had taken captive the women and those who were there from small to great they did not kill anyone, but carried them away and went their way. When David and his men came to the city, and there it was, burned with fire and their wives, their sons, and their daughters had been taken captive. And the Bible says in 1Sam 30:4 that, "David and the people who were with him lifted up their voices and wept, until they had no more power to weep." And also the Bible says in 1 Sam 30:6, "Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people were grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God."

         And further Bible says in 1 Sam 30:8 , "So David inquired of the LORD, saying, "Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?" And He answered him, "Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all."

         Finally David gets back everything he lost as the Bible says in 1 Sam 30:18-19, "So David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives. And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all."

         Yes, my friend, Jesus wants to give you back everything whatever you lost in your life no matter what it may be. Look to Jesus, He is going to give you back everything in this year.

          Let us ask God and get back whatever we lost... do you say that you have sinned and there is no hope for you, do you say that you have gone faraway and can’t come back, do you say that you have lost your peace, joy and happiness in your life? Do you say that you have lost everything in your life, your husband, your wife, your children... but Jesus came to seek and save you and your life. Let us pray..

          Loving heavenly father, I pray in Jesus name that whatever these people has lost in their lives, give them back in double portion, heal their broken hearts and homes, forgive and forget their sins and please give them a new life. I commend all the blessings in Jesus name in their lives and let the blessings flow. I know you are blessing your people so I praise you. Thank you Jesus. We pray all this things in Jesus name Amen
